Embroidery Operator

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Summit Golf Brands (SBG), located 30 quick miles from Madison, WI, is seeking a full time Embroidery Operator. Summit Golf Brands is a fast going company that designs and source high-end golf apparel and sportswear, sold online and at leading country clubs and resorts around the world. Our brands can be found at over 3,000 accounts in more than 25 countries.

The Embroidery Operator, under the direction of the Vice President of Production, you will be responsible for assisting customers in order-related requests, while meeting and exceeding all SGB Customer Service goals. Serves as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Individual will use basic skills to operate 6 Head Embroidery Machine. Must be able to hoop, stand for extended periods of time and required to work efficiently and accurately in applying embroidery crest to garments.

  • Following production Work Order instructions, apply appropriate club logo to garments using directed logo, thread colors and placement.
  • Scan start and end time of job task using system scan.
  • Send logo file to embroidery machine using computer programs.
  • Hoop appropriate garment location following company guidelines as to placement location.
  • Responsible for pulling and setting up on machine thread colors as listed on production work order and load onto correct machine needle, returning threads to thread racks once job is completed.
  • Run and monitor logo application process checking for proper tension, thread breaks, jump stitches, etc., making Supervisor aware of any issues.
  • Trim backing / threads on long running logos as time allows.
  • Responsible for cleaning general area around machine at end of each shift.
  • Able to work mandatory Saturdays

Account Executive

As the Account Executive representing, Fairway & Greene, Zero Restriction & B. Draddy in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas this person will be responsible for managing their territory’s book of business, customer relationships, and all aspects of the sales process for existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with knowledge of the golf industry and a passion for golf apparel.

Reports to: Matt McFarlane, Vice President of Sales, Mid-Atlantic – Western US

Role Requirements:

  • Be a proud, enthusiastic, and positive Summit Golf Brands representative in the marketplace
  • Promoting and growing sales in your territory on an on-going basis
  • Traveling your territory regularly to cultivate meaningful partnerships with wholesale partners both in season and for Pre-Book line reviews
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with partners in territory
  • Build trust with current and prospective business partners with thoughtful and thorough communication
  • Drive revenue by acting with integrity and being well informed and client focused
  • Educate buyers, corporate clients, and end consumers on products by telling brand stories
  • Provide first class customer service to accounts by checking in regularly with onsite customer visits and phone communication to exceed customer expectation and pro- actively seek new order opportunities
  • Focusing on Company’s new online sales platforms to strengthen business – Summit Club Code, Summit Club Shop, and B2B direct order entry system
  • Actively pursue and capture tournament and outing business
  • Assisting with key regional and national events as needed by the Company (Major Championships, Tour Events)
  • Maintaining regular contact with your sales supervisor by providing consistent territory and account updates

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in golf, retail or sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Customer Service Representative

Production Associate

Overview:

Position Summary: The Production Associate, under the direction of the VP of Production will use basic skills to trim, fold, steam and bag embroidered apparel. Serves as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. No experience is necessary; we are willing to train!

Essential Functions And Responsibilities Knowledge And Skills: Individual must possess these skills and abilities, or explain that he/she can perform the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some combination of skills and abilities.

  • Returning garments that have been embroidered to their original state of packaging before shipment to the customer using scanning system.
  • Perform visual check of the logo for excess thread strings and trim off as necessary.
  • Remove hoop ring mark using hand held steamer and / or hand iron.
  • Replace company tissue printed sided up into the garment prior to refolding.
  • Refold garments following original fold lines, using fold size specifications.
  • Replace garment clips, collar stays, etc. as needed for each garment style.
  • Move finished garments to cart / receptacle for return to packing area for shipment.

Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Inspector, under the direction of the QA Manager, you will be responsible for the inspection of in-bound garments to ensure the highest quality to our customers. Serves as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. No experience is necessary; we are willing to train!

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of in-bound shipments, measure garments, check for flaws, stains, broken stitches, missing buttons, broken zippers, branding, etc.
  • Work with the QA Manager to determine the priority of units to be processed.
  • Work with the QA Manager, on outgoing shipments of refurb/returned product.
  • Assists QA Manager with daily transactions.
  • Involved in continuous improvement for the department.
  • Assists with other projects and departments as needed.

Shipping Warehouse Worker

Position Overview:

The Shipping Warehouse Worker, under the direction of the VP of Warehouse, you will be responsible for Shipping Picking, Replenishing and Receiving with the ability to float where needed throughout the day, once trained in all areas. Serves as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. Responsibilities:
Shipping Warehouse Worker, will be responsible for examining contents and comparison of records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment using company computers, scanning systems and software programs.

Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes using computer programs and scanning devices.

Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.

Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.

Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.

Position Overview:

The HR RECRUITER, under the direction of the VP of HR, you will be responsible to manage our full recruitment cycle, from identifying potential hires to interviewing, evaluating candidates, offer acceptance and on-boarding. Responsibilities:

  • Design and update job descriptions
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels
