Embroidery Operator
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Summit Golf Brands (SGB), located 30 quick miles from Madison, WI, is seeking a full time Embroidery Operator. Summit Golf Brands is a fast-growing company that designs and source high-end golf apparel and sportswear, sold online and at leading country clubs and resorts around the world. Our brands can be found at over 3,000 accounts in more than 25 countries.
The Embroidery Operator, under the direction of the Vice President of Production, you will be responsible for assisting customers in order-related requests, while meeting and exceeding all SGB Customer Service goals. Serves as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual will use basic skills to operate 6 Head Embroidery Machine. Must be able to hoop, stand for extended periods of time and required to work efficiently and accurately in applying embroidery crest to garments.
- Following production Work Order instructions, apply appropriate club logo to garments using directed logo, thread colors and placement.
- Scan start and end time of job task using system scan.
- Send logo file to embroidery machine using computer programs.
- Hoop appropriate garment location following company guidelines as to placement location.
- Responsible for pulling and setting up on machine thread colors as listed on production work order and load onto correct machine needle, returning threads to thread racks once job is completed.
- Run and monitor logo application process checking for proper tension, thread breaks, jump stitches, etc., making Supervisor aware of any issues.
- Trim backing / threads on long running logos as time allows.
- Responsible for cleaning general area around machine at end of each shift.
- Able to work mandatory Saturdays

Production Associate

POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Associate, under the direction of the VP of Production will use basic skills to trim, fold, steam and bag embroidered apparel. Serves as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. No experience is necessary; we are willing to train!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES KNOWLEDGE AND
SKILLS: Individual must possess these skills and abilities, or explain that he/she can perform the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some combination of skills and abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.

- Returning garments that have been embroidered to their original state of packaging before shipment to the customer using scanning system.
- Perform visual check of the logo for excess thread strings and trim off as necessary.
- Remove hoop ring mark using hand held steamer and / or hand iron.
- Replace company tissue printed sided up into the garment prior to refolding.
- Refold garments following original fold lines, using fold size specifications.
- Replace garment clips, collar stays, etc. as needed for each garment style.
- Move finished garments to cart / receptacle for return to packing area for shipment.
- Additional duties as assigned.

The Shipping Clerk, under the direction of the VP of Warehouse, will be responsible for shipping, picking, replenishing, and receiving with the ability to float where needed throughout the day, once trained in all areas. The will serve as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. No experience is necessary; we are willing to train!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for examining contents and comparison of records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment using company computers, scanning systems and software programs.
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes using computer programs and scanning devices.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
